Japanese translations
A Japanese translation of Kurt Danziger's book, Naming the Mind was published in 2005. It is now in its second printing (available from Amazon Japan). One of its translators, Dr. Yasuhiro Igarashi of the Yamano College of Aesthetics in Tokyo is currently preparing an edited book on Critical Psychology in which translations of Kurt Danziger's papers, "Universalism and Indigenization in the History of Modern Psychology" and "The Social Context of Methodology" will appear. The book will be published by Nakanishi-ya of Kyoto in September 2011. Dr. Igarashi has also secured a contract with Nakanishi-ya to publish a Japanese translation of the web book, Problematic Encounter: Talks on Psychology and History.
